Rothwell Health Centre

The students and staff at Grace are privileged to have a new purpose built Health Centre on campus that opened in 2018. The Health Centre has been designed by architects in consultation with the Nursing Staff, it is well appointed and fully equipped to assist the various and diverse needs of the school community.

The role of the Health Centre at Rothwell Campus is to take care of not only first aid following illness or injury at school but to also support the day to day needs of students with ongoing medical conditions.

We support students with a variety of different medical conditions requiring monitoring and or the administration of medications either short or long term. We work alongside and in collaboration with the teaching and pastoral care team to ensure a holistic approach to the day to day care of our student body. Our Registered Nurse is also involved in health promotion initiatives throughout the year delivering educational presentations to students. Where necessary the Registered Nurses will also attend off campus events and camps to support students with medical needs.

The Health Centre Staff are also responsible for maintaining daily student attendance and absentee records. Please feel free to contact our staff through front reception or via email if you need to discuss the care of your child.
